in conjunction with MSN 2021, Exeter, UK on December 13-15, 2021
In the big data era, data collection is the first important step to various kinds of data-based or data driven processing. Many emerging techniques such as Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), Computer Vision, Web crawlers serve for the data collection from both the physical world and cyber world. The workshop on Intelligent Data Collection in Cyber-Physical Systems (IDC) provides a forum for academic researchers and industry practitioners to exchange the most recent progress in intelligent data collection methods and applications in this field.
Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings and published in the IEEE Xplore digital library (indexed by EI). At least one author of any accepted paper must register and present the paper at the conference. After registration, all of the accepted papers will be recommended to SCI journal SPECIAL ISSUE, such as COMNET, Sensors. We will plan it in the future.
The workshop solicits submissions from areas relating to intelligent data collection algorithms and approaches. The interested topics include but not limited to:
All submissions to MSN 2021 must be uploaded to EasyChair. selecting the track "IDC2021".
Submitted papers must be written in the English language, according to IEEE Computer Society Proceedings Format (double column, 10pt font, letter paper) and submitted in PDF file format. Use the standard IEEE Transactions templates for Microsoft Word or LaTeX formats found at: templates. The manuscript (including figures, tables, appendices, references) should be no longer than 6 pages and at least 4 pages. Submitted manuscripts must not contain previously published material or be under consideration for publication in another conference or journal.
