1.who we are?
Our lab is one of the distinctive labs in International School of Software, Wuhan University. We were established in July, 2013. The core members in our lab are XiaohuiCui(Professor& Dean), Weiping Zhu(Associate Professor), Bo Han(Associate Professor), Xiaojian Li(Associate Professor), Zhibo Wang(Phd Candidate). We include 1Phd Candidate，7masterstudents，15undergraduates and 25 graduation projects.2.what we do?
Our research direction includes cloud computing, big data, complex network and internet of things technology. The specific issues we are carrying on research include sentiment mining and entity detection base on social network, group incident analysis base on social network, storage and process of image data in cloud environment, reader anti-interference algorithm in mobile RFID system、subway evacuationfor emergency simulation platform,Mobile Medical andsmart home.- Develop students’ academic ability and instruct future plan: Every teacher in our lab is responsible and concerned about students’ academic work and career plan. They help students with many job and intern opportunities.
- Hardware support: We provide each student with a desktop computer. According to projects’ requirement, each students will be offered distributed environment, server, RFID device. They also can distribute books about their research for free.
- Funding:Our lab can pay all the expense for students’ scientific exchange (ex: paper publication, academic exchange conference). According to their workload, our lab will provide students with subsidy. Students can be recommended to the application of teaching assistant and research assistant.
- Enlarge students’ outlook: Our lab holds academic exchange activity inner group or across groups. We organize some trainings about newly up to date technology. Sometimes we invite specialist to have some lectures.
- Foster students’ cooperation capability: Our lab hold outdoor activities occasionally to enrich students’ extracurricular activity. At the meantime, it can foster students’ cooperation capability.

- No matter what your school and major are, common interest in scientific research is the foundation and motivation for us.
- You should have basic programming ability. We don’t constrict programming preference, but you need to be capable of completing several experiments under teachers’ guide.
